Day Out With Thomas is a unique event programme licensed by HIT Entertainment. The event enables children and their families to meet Thomas the Tank Engine™ and his friends at one of their partner heritage railways across the UK. Here you can experience a ride on a real steam engine, shake hands with The Fat Controller, and take part in Thomas & Friends themed activities in the Imagination Station. Whilst the activities, additional characters and train ticket types on offer can vary depending on the railway, Thomas the Tank Engine and The Fat Controller are always present at every magical event.
Railways are available in;
Prices vary depending on the railway station but the average price is around twelve to fifteen pounds per ticket. Tickets are sent out in batches close to the date of the event which means that if you book early it may be some time before you receive them. However tickets should always reach you at least 5 days before the event unless they are being collected from the railway. Where tickets are booked within 14 days of an event and are being posted, tickets should reach you at least 2 days before an event.
